Doha International Airport is essentially a regional airport that has gained international status and as such its amenities and services reflect those of a regional facility.
Shopping is limited to a single duty-free outlet, while a small food court serves the needs of those requiring refreshments and sustenance. Essential financial services such as ATMs and bureaux de change are also on hand.

Shops, Duty-Free and Retail Outlets
The airport offers a single, large duty-free outlet selling an extensive number of products in the following categories: perfumes, make-up and cosmetics; tobacco, liquor and confectionary; toys, electronics and music; watches, pens, jewellery, gold, crystal and toiletries; and travel goods.
Bars, Cafés and Restaurants
The Arrivals area offers a single outlet for food and refreshments, this being a Costa Coffee café. Meanwhile, passengers in the Departures area can choose from the A&W, Coffee Beanery Café, Ponderosa, Sterling and also TCBY.
Currency Exchange, Communications and Banking Facilities
ATMs and bureaux de change operated by Qatar National Bank are available in both the Arrivals and Departures areas. A 24-hour post office is also on hand in Departures. Public telephones can be found throughout the airport, while Wi-Fi access is available at the Qatar Airways and the Oryx First lounges as well as at all other business class lounges.

Comprehensive business facilities can be found in the Oryx and the Qatar Airways First lounges as well as at all other business class lounges.
Disabled Facilities
Doha International Airport is not especially well equipped to receive disabled passengers and those with special needs are advised to contact their airline ahead of their arrival at the airport. Wheelchair access can be provided, but wheelchair friendly toilets are not available.
Other Facilities
A male only mosque can be found in Arrivals, while a mixed sex mosque is available in Departures.
